DESCRIPTION:

Before we begin talking about this weapon, please note that the name "Spectre M4" is
not a typo!, the real name of the weapon this is based off is a Spectre M4 - this does
not mean it is in any way based off a Colt M4A1!

The Spectre is an Italian SMG that was designed in the mid 1980's - It was produced up
until 2001 but is currently still in use with the Swiss army and the Italian special forces.
The key innovative feature of the Spectre is its 50 Round Quad-Stack magazine, this
differs from conventional design as most weapons use single or double stack; by increasing
the number of bullets side by side in the magazine you can gain a higher capacity without
being forced to extend the magazine down to a length that would make it unwieldy. The
spectre will still accept conventional double stack magazines however and can be chambered
in a variety of cartridges ranging from 9x19mm to .45 ACP making it a very versatile weapon.

In the airsoft world this translates to making a VERY nice lightweight SMG that would be
perfect for use as a backup to a sniper or as a primary for a scout - The 50 round magazine
capacity holds a level of "realism" and when compared to other SMG's of comparable size this
is not a BAD sized magazine. To properly compliment this weapon on the field we would
suggest taking one or two pre-loaded speedloaders out with you, this will allow you to refill
your magazine  in combat and will effectively add two full magazines for every speedloader you take.

In terms of construction and feel, this weapon is plastic HOWEVER this is the same style of
plastic that Tokyo Marui use meaning it is sturdy and very resilient to the general bumps and
knocks of a normal game. The weight of this weapon is ever so slightly centred towards the rear
as the front grip is hollow as it houses the battery, this doesn't seem to be an issue when shooting
however as the weapon is so light it is very easy to keep shots on target even when shooting
single-handed (Not that we would advise you to do so!).

(THIS WEAPON MAY BE ABLE TO TAKE A SUPRESSOR BY UNSCREWING THE MUZZLE - TO BE CONFIRMED)
